Early morning train to leave Vernazza, a train change to Pisa. We have a short 25 minute walk to have a photo opt of the Leaning Tower then back on the train to Florence.
Our stop in Pisa was very interesting. It wasn’t on my bucket list but was very beautiful. The grounds and surrounding areas were quite beautiful. And the crowds were entertaining with all the poses they came up with and all the time it takes to stage them.
The train ride way uneventful but it too a bit to get to our apartment. There was construction near the train station and that through Google maps off. But we made it.
Our apartment is very nice right on the Arno River. It is in a great location, about 15 minutes from the Central area.
We walked down the river and explored a couple of bridges and the exclusive shopping areas, the grabs a quick bites at a corner market. Now bed time.
