Don’t let age, physical shape, or inexperience stop you. There are so many beautiful short, well marked hikes to explore. Maybe you will explore more when you feel ready for more hills, longer trails, and difficult terrain. If not, just enjoy those wonderful moments of being in the woods.

I have decided to add some hikes that are close to my home. The beauty of the Pacific Northwest and a need to share some adventures with like minded women is what inspired me, in my late 50’s, to start the Wild Women Walking, buy a daypack, hiking boots, my 10 essentials and start exploring. It changed my life.
