The night was filled with the loudest thunder and lightening! It sounded like it was striking right on top of the village. Luckily by day break the rain had stopped.
The Albergue where I stayed last night, was amazing. The owners are a young couple that really were welcoming and have put a lot of thought into their update of this building. Albergue Agora, I highly recommend it.
The morning started well, got a bit quirky with backtracking and following others that “seemed to know” where they were going, so more backtracking, of course all in the dark. But it all ended well with wine at 8:00am.
It was a long day in the Navarre wine and olive friends with no shade and 90 degree weather. A bit difficult at times but I kept pass I g and catching up with the German Girlfriend Group. They are very funny and encouraging so it made the day better.
This is defiantly a new climate area. The pastures of sheep and cows are now vineyards and olive groves. Harvest time is just around the corner.
The day ended in another nice private apartment and dinner with my English, Dutch, Swiss, and Floridian friends.
I would love to come upon a fountain that served either water or wine. Was the wine good or bad?
