Camino de Santiago 2019

I would never say “last” Camino de Santiago; but maybe. It is not because I think I am too old for another after this one, but because I have other paths I want to follow.

If this is my last, I don’t know how I could end my Camino journeys with anything better than sharing it with Eva, my 20 year old granddaughter. So in August, the 69 year old and the 20 year old will take to the 500 mile trail together.

There is always so much to learn on this journey; I am excited to share those experiences with Eva.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.
