The best laid plans…..we left so optimistic, ready for an adventure, unflustered by a seven hour layover in Calgary (hotel “in terminal” booked for comfy rest)….all was well. Then small glitches started; Eva wasn’t checked in even though it said she was, because we were international passengers checking luggage, that was a problem 
mechanical problem with our plane, so slight delay…got into Calgary and couldn’t leave International area to go to hotel! I highly recommend Booking.com and Delta Calgary Hotel. I called them and they cancelled my room for me at no cost and no penalty!
So we went for a 🍺. Yes, Eva is legal, we are in Canada 
Now we are lounging , waiting for our flight to Paris. 
When we land it will be tomorrow and we will celebrate with a croissant!
All part of the adventure of hurry to wait, all the magnificence will be worth it.
