Last Hike on the Dingle

Bittersweet, as always, is the last hike of a journey.

No worries today. Slow and steady is our moto.

Every climb I am hopeful that when I see a corner ahead, that is the crest of the climb, only to be disappointed over and over and over again.

What wasn’t missing is their manure! It became impossible to try to walk around, between, or over it.
Finally. The hotel lobby and beer, chips (fries) and anything else snack-y.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.
