today was very interesting day. this is the beginning of the Meseta. There are a lot of people who choose to bus across the Meseta that I find it a perfect time for thinking, and observing and reevaluating.
Before we made it to the Meseta I had to walk out of Burgos. Luckily, the walkout is not nearly as tedious as the walk-in.

Soon was walking through more the fields of sunflowers. But not all were dying.

I entered the last small village before my final destination. It was so charming and welcoming. After a cold drink Yun and I walked on and entered a small church that was open. Two older nuns greeted us in Spanish and the oldest one gave each of us a necklace and then put her hand on our heads and blesses us. Then taking my face in her hands she gave another blessing looking deep in my eyes. She was probably the most spiritually pure soul I have ever encountered. I don’t think one Pilgrim lest that chapel dry eyed after her touch and blessing.

The sun is out today without much breeze so it was good to be finishing up the day by 2 pm.
There were times that there was no one in front of me or behind me.
