We decided to leave Zubiri early since the weather prediction was 105 degrees for today. We were also glad to leave the very tight quarters of our alberge.

Although we were told “don’t worry today is flat walking…

We left before breakfast and ended up having brunch about 10 km into the day. Needing coffee can inspire you on.
Today was my best day and Debby’s but challenged Debby. I am sure that we will be going back and forth with which days are physically and mentally the most challenging. At the end of the day we made it.
Along the way we saw some interesting sights. There was an abandoned church that a man from South Africa is restoring. One of the volunteers was a guy named David, who is from Oregon. We had a nice chat and then also ran into a woman that is also blogging and I have been following for the past few months.
Walking through three cities in a row was a challenge for me. I really don’t like this part of the Caminoand it seems to change the temper of the walk and mind. The night was noisy and difficult to sleep with the lights etc. the bonus was definitely the pinchos at the bar for dinner.
Today we are off in the heat again although it is suppose to be cooling off a bit later in the week. It is hard to keep track of time. I guess it is later in the week and it is still hot😓
I hope you get some relief from the heat 🙂
Sometime when you are down, just remember how much you have given all of us that are following you. And when I am feeling down, I will be thankful that I am not climbing a hill in 105 degree heat. Symbiotic relationships are great.
