Day 13-Viana to Ventosa

another early start

We started early and it was quite a trek through Logrona to finally hit some trails.  We walked about 45 minutes through city streets.

We came upon this perigrino turned entreprenier and bought some fruit. We were then off on our 21 km hike in fairly cool weather.  It was so nice to have a cooler day.
It was a day of walking through vineyard after vineyard and past several Rioja Bodegas.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.

  1. Very nice to see Debby on the road again. A long walk is a bummer if your feet hurt.

  2. Great job on the posts and photos. Look forward to checking up on you two each morning. Hugs
