Spectacular in all ways.
Raining, grueling, mystical and more taxing than I remembered.

I walked again today with my new Camino friend Cecillia and later for the descent, Sirina from Italy joined us. It was nice to share their first encounter with conquering the Pyrenees.
Finally the reward. A shower, food and a bed.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.

Looked forward to reading your posts each day! Glad you conquered the Pyrenees and your feet and knees handles the steep downhill. Cecelia sounds like a wonderful walking partner. 🙂
More taxing? Really? You’re just a tad bit older..duh. THAT said…go girlfriend I’m cheering you on from my couch with a vodka soda. Your posts are the highlight of my day.
True that! I am by far the oldest of the group by 10 years.
