9/12/2022 Today was a day for relaxing. We slept in a bit, visited the Cathedral and museum, and walk the top of the wall that surrounds the city. It is the only continuous standing Roman wall in the world.
I am anxious to start walking the Camino. tomorrow is a 16 mile hike, which makes me a little concerned on ourfirst day. My motto for tomorrow is slow and steady!
I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures. View more posts
