Day 22 Leon

Wow! Did I need this. After clearing out my pack and having a lengthy conversation with T-Mobile (which they resolved the problem in the most caring way) I sat in the plaza and watched people and had a delightful Italian 🤣lunch. Leave it to my nose to lead me to Italian. I soon found myself grinning ear to ear, feeling rested, relaxed and ready to continue walking.

And then the bonus was…..

Barb and Alan from my hometown walked into Leon today!

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.

  1. Yea! You are wise to listen to your body. While the pilgrimage was meant to test faith, at our age it was not meant to kill us … or cause permanent bodily harm. Be kind to yourself. God understands. 💕🌹
