Day 4 – A Favorite Day

This was just the type of day I love about traveling. We did a cooking class in an agriturismo just 20 minutes in the hills above Sorrento. It was wonderful to get out into the rural area of Campaigna seeing the groves of citrus and olive trees and vineyards of local grapes. The Agriturismo Primaluce – Fattoria Didattica e Tour is run by a family that is passionate about growing quality produce and animals.

We met some new “friends” from Scotland & Australia; two young couples traveling around Europe on holiday.

For anyone traveling to Sorrento I would highly recommend this pizza cooking class. They also have a bed and breakfast on the farm if you are looking for a quieter stay in this area.

Dinner again at Enjoy the Little Things Cafe. The owners remembered us and even remembered Brenda’s favorite dish!

We decided after strolling down the main street that we would go to bed early tonight, but more sightseeing plans have us still awake at 10:30 whike everyone is still partying outside our window on the street.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.
