It was great to be back on the Camino. For most of the day, my knee felt good. I taped and wore a knee brace, and except for specific slopes on the downhills, I did pretty well for 16 miles.

We had a Camino Moment today. It was getting late in the day, and we were getting close to our 16-mile mark when we noticed a farmer coming out of his pasture. He spoke to us and went on toward his barns. As we started to catch upwith him, he asked if we would like a stamp for our credentials. I was immediately curious because I have never had a farmer ask if I wanted a stamp on my previous 8 Caminos.
We followed him to his milking parlor where we had the best exchange with this man who took a moment put of his busy day to acknowledge us and our Camino. Moments like this gets you through the last 2 km of a long day!

Sixteen miles up and down elevation is a lot, but we made it to our hostel. It was lovely. There was just us and one other person staying in the entire facility!

We went to dinner, our first full meal today, and visited with our Camino friends from Seattle before heading collect our laundry and go to bed.
