Day 8 Blisters!!!! Estella to Los Argos.

What the heck? Karma! Ms. know it all…. now I have two bottom feet with blisters. But with Dr. Johnson’s help, they are threaded and feeling better. Twelve miles on blisters is not fun. Just spent $30 at the pharmacy on foot care and ibuprofen cream ($$$$$ in states with prescription and is $10 here). That is for my sore muscles.

Winery on the way

Some of our American Camino friends from the US. The evenings are so nice catching up with Camino friends.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.

  1. Sorry about the blisters. Not fun. I remember we had quite a run of blisters the first time on the trail all those years ago.
