Denmark – Day 3

Today was centered around food and family as today was a family brunch.

We hopped around doing grocery shopping, then pick up Julius. I got to see his first new apartment. The rest of the day was spent cooking, visiting and feasting together.

I had previously bulked up🤭 for my Camino but I think that I may have added a few more pounds to carry with me over the Pyrenees in three days😳. Maybe instead of worrying about my pack weight I should have worked on my body weight.😉

We finished the night with a lovely 2015 & 2016 Bordeaux tasting. Life is good.

I am a woman of age reinventing myself in my 70’s. I owned a restaurant for 36 years, was a high school CTE instructor in Culinary Arts, and I’m now looking for my next chapter in life. I am restless. I do know that hiking, travel, and sharing my love of food and wine will play a part in my new adventures.
