What a Day! Walking, a boat ride, climbing up a mountain, and moving into Spain.

I stopped at the next town to get a bite to eat and was greeted by the owners of the albergue I had just left! They are really good albergue hosts and it was so sweet that they acted like I was a long time friend.

Then came the “Crossing“ from Portugal to Spain.
It is fast and bouncy. But we did have life jackets!
The rest of the day was a surprise since I thought the town we docked in was where I was staying but it was over the mountain behind the port!

The last bit through town was a challenge be cause I wasn’t sure my phone battery (which would have left me without directions to my albergue or my back was going to give out first. Luckily they both made it.

I was able to wash and dry my clothes; much needed, then went out for a meal.

It was a good day. I have met some amazing young women from all over the world today and revisited some that I met several days ago. Sharing bunks has lots of advantages.
