Well, I was very optimistic because it started raining about two minutes after I took this video. I actually don’t mind walking in the rain and I now recognize my fellow pilgrims by their rain gear!
I’m at that point and my hike that I start making up personal stories about people that I see every day but haven’t talk to. Over the years it has become a form of trail entertainment.
There are a couple things on the trail that really give me a pause for thought.
-One is why anyone would play their music without earbuds in.
-Having a long, loud phone conversation with others hikers around you.
I really do try not to judge people on their Caminos. When these two things happen, I usually sit down for a while and let them pass.

Tonight I am staying in the same hostel that I stayed in when I walked the Portuguese Central Camino. It wasn’t planned, but it’s always nice to have reminder of a past Camino.
I’m just a few days from the end of my journey and have plenty of time to enjoy the last two days of walking into Santiago. In the past three days, I’ve had some great conversations with new people, and I ran into people that I met the first day leaving Porto.
I love being on your journey with you.
